DESCRIPTION
SmartTrack is one of the market leading fitting manufacturers in the world of sea kayaking.
This sophisticated and elegant overstern rudder - made up by teflon coated housing and nylon blade - is designed to (relatelively) minimise turbulence and drag. The blade can be fixed in a °90 retracted position from the cockpit. It's sensitivity can be adjusted by a "tension knob" according to the water conditions.
Rudders with "Original" Blade Housing are equipped for expedition use on touring sea kayaks, while rudders with a more lightweight, low profile housing are used on a wide range of fitness, intermediate and racing sea kayaks.

NOTE: Overstern rudders cannot be retrofitted (installed later)! Solid stern section should be made during construction to let us use them. If you want them to be equipped to your boat - factory assembled or at a later stage – don’t forget to tell us!
