The Master Speed 44 has a moderately V-shaped forward and a buoyant, deep & rounded midship (center section), making the boat perform well in a wide range of conditions. It is particularly advised for strong built and experienced fitness paddlers in choppy waters where typical race kayaks become hard to handle and an extra stability boost is needed to put the power down with confidence.
High profile front deck provides ample leg & foot space for tall paddlers. The rudder is placed a bit further from the stern to keep the steering ability with a heavier paddler. Though the boat seems robust at first glance, it has a remarkable turn of speed and also maintains a nice cruising speed.
Constructions differ in the materials and technologies used during the manufacturing process. These determine the stiffness, the weight and the interior appearance of the boat. In practice, an upper construction results a stiffer, more lightweight & spectacular boat, but it requires more caution during use
Besides, the standard and available fittings may be also different in some constructions. These are listed at the "Fittings" section of this article.
