The Marino 565 a has V-shaped front and flat bottomed mid section with hard chines for a good initial stability, still it can edge and carve relatively well in turns. Sharp & high volume bow allows the kayak to shed water excellently, so you can stay comfortable and relatively dry even in challenging situations. It picks waves, catches surf and the ocean swells with ease. The cut-away deck allows efficient paddle-friendly entries.
As standard, the Marino 565 comes fitted with understern racing rudder, low 2-pin seat, K-boat style footrest with tiller bar steering and foot straps in upper lever construction for more intensive legwork - just like our flat water fitness kayaks. However, we offer many popular fitting options to tune the kayak to a specific use, water or paddler skills.
Our composite boats are made in multiple constructions (layups). We designed them to meet the needs of as many recreational users as possible - from clubs & hobbyists to top-ranking athletes.
Different materials and technologies are used in each construction. They determine the weight, stiffness and interior appearance of the boat. In practice, an upper construction results a stiffer, more lightweight & spectacular boat, but it requires more caution during use
